AI Job Application Assistant: How Jev Applies
Jev is an AI job application assistant for US tech job seekers. It can help find relevant roles, prepare application materials, and submit supported applications using the information and daily rules you have confirmed. Finding a match, generating a resume, and submitting an application are separate steps. You control when submission is allowed.
Start with confirmed information
Choose the resume and application materials you want to use. Review your profile and any missing answers before enabling application execution. Job matching is based on resume evidence; it does not establish identity, work authorization, or facts that you have not confirmed.
If you are just exploring, prepare and review applications first. A saved job or prepared draft does not mean anything has been sent.
Set your AI job application assistant rules
Automatic mode follows your configured daily limits and application rules. Review the current settings in Apply with Jev, including the materials and information the service may use. Pause automatic submissions when you want to stop future activity.
A daily limit is a cap, not a promise to send that many applications. An application may require review when a form, answer, or material cannot be completed within the supported workflow. A role appearing in a shortlist does not by itself grant permission to apply.
Understand the supported scope
JevJob includes execution support for supported Greenhouse and Lever application forms. Employer-specific questions and unusual forms can require additional review. The service does not promise automatic submission to every company, job board, or application system.
Employer security checks, identity documents, work-authorization decisions, and other personal steps may need your direct action. If a form asks you to prove you are a person, complete that step yourself. Do not rely on generated answers for information only you can confirm.
Review the result and receipt
Use the application record to distinguish materials that are ready from an application actually submitted. Check the submission result and available receipt before treating it as complete. If the result needs verification or personal action, follow the next step shown in the record.
A submission receipt is evidence about sending the application. It is not an employer response, an interview invitation, or a hiring outcome. Keep your own contact email available and follow the employer's instructions for later steps.
What happens to credits?
A successful automatic submission uses 10 credits. Failed submissions and results that need verification return the reserved submission credits. Preparing materials can involve separate AI services; check each displayed price before using it. You can review credit activity in your account.
Do not infer a submission charge from a drafted document, a saved role, or a queued item. The application result and credit record should tell the same story. If they do not, contact support with the application reference.
Common questions
Does Jev send every job that appears to match?
No. Submission depends on your enabled mode, confirmed information, daily rules, available credits, and a supported application flow.
Can I use my own email?
Use the contact information you confirm in your profile. A dedicated JevJob application inbox is not part of the service described here.
Can I stop automatic applications?
Pause automatic mode to stop future automatic submissions. Check application records for anything already sent; an already delivered application cannot be assumed to be withdrawn by changing a setting.
Where do I review and enable my application rules?
Open Apply with Jev in your workspace. Review your profile, selected resume, target roles, daily limit, and permission to submit. You can prepare applications before enabling automatic mode.
Start with the matching guide, review pricing, and use your workspace to confirm the materials and rules for the applications you want Jev to handle.
